Website Privacy Notice

This notice covers this website only — what happens to information you type into it. It is not the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how Northern Virginia Dental Solutions handles your health information under HIPAA. That is a separate notice: read the Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

If you complete the appointment request form, we receive what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the reason for your visit, your preferred date, whether you are a new or current patient, any insurance you mention, and any notes you add.

With your request we also record how you found the site — for example, a Google search — and the first page you landed on, so the practice can see which pages help patients. We keep only the name of the website that sent you, never what you searched for. Nothing else is collected. We do not ask for, and the form does not accept, clinical or medical detail — those conversations belong in the practice, not in a web form.

What happens to it

Your request is emailed straight to the practice so the team can call you back. A copy is also kept in the practice's private records system, so a request is never lost if an email goes astray. Only the practice and the team that runs this website can see it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the practice.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. Nothing follows you to other websites. We count visits, and taps on the phone number, so we can see which pages help patients, using counters that set no cookies and never store your IP address or anything you type into the form. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties that see your visit

These services help the site work. Some receive your IP address when your browser requests a file from them:

• Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used across the site.
• Vercel — hosts the site, keeps standard server logs, and counts visits without cookies.
• Supabase — holds the practice's private copy of appointment requests.
• SendGrid — delivers your appointment request to the practice by email.

None of these are used to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.

Your choices

You do not have to use the form. Calling (703) 893-1603 reaches the same people and leaves nothing on this website at all.

If you have sent a request and would like it deleted, contact the practice and ask. The email and the stored copy will both be removed.
